Various dignitaries walk out of St. Giles’ Cathedral after service celebrating 100th anniversary of the death of novelist Sir Walter Scott.
Prince George, Duke of Kent, and the Lord Provost walk in the Centenary procession past watching crowds. They are going to the Scott monument in Princes Street.

The Procession moves on to the old Parliament Hall. Among those in the parade are the Heralds (in their uniform) and men carrying halberds. Judges, councillors, military men are also taking part.
