Stapleford Lions (1968)

Stapleford Manor, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Stapleford Manor is the latest stately home to try a “back-to-the-wilds-act“. It is now a Safari Park (or “game reserve“). Various shots of the manor house and of animals in the grounds. The lions are from Chipperfield’s Circus. Owner of the Park Lord Gretton (sp?) travels round in a Land Rover. Other visitors are seen in their cars admiring the wildlife. Nice shots of the lions who look quite happy and healthy. Some of them have a sleep. Cuts exist - see other record.
