Full title reads: “Govan. An Almost Unsinkable Ferry - named ’Royal Iris II’ by command of the King, so that memory of the original’s gallantry at Zeebrugge should not be forgotten - launched from Harland & Wolff’s famous yard.“ Govan, Strathclyde, Scotland. One lady is presented with a bouquet of flowers by a young boy. C/U four people Two men wear chains of office, suggesting that they are mayors or some such dignitary. They are accompanied by two women. A woman smashed the champagne bottle against the side of the ship. ’Royal Iris II’. Pan along line of dignitaries.
