Round The World In A Flying Boat! (1932)

Full title reads: “Friedrichshafen. Round the World in a Flying Boat! Von Gronau & crew of Dornier Wal - home again after 70,880 miles flight.“ Friedrichshafen, Germany. The Dornier Wal seaplane comes in to land on a lake. Shots from a boat that moves alongside the seaplane once it has landed. The names of the various places it has visited on its Round The World flight are painted on the side of the fuselage. The plane has its large single engine and propellor mounted on the top of the main wing. Wolfgang Von Gronau and members of his crew wave from the cockpit. The names of places the plane has visited on its flight are written on the side. The plane comes into a dock. A winch is attached to the top of the plane and it is lifted out of the water. A crowd have gathered to cheer the crew home. They wave as the plane is lifted into a hanger. The crew receive flowers.
