Findon, Sussex. Exterior. M/S of a row of stables next to an old farmhouse. Six race horses are being lead past the stables by stable boys. Low angle shot of the leading stable boy being helped onto the back of a chestnut racing horse by a man in a flat cap. M/S of Tommy Winters leading a dark brown horse named Canardeau out of the stables. The horse is followed out of the stables by a sheep. The narrator comments “well,hello - that one’s a bit small on the small side, isn’t it?“ Low angle shot of Tommy being helped onto the dark brown horse. C/U of the horse whinnying. C/U of the sheep.
