Travelogue showing the wonders of Cadenabbia and Venice. Begins with footage of London in fog - “What could be more dispiriting than scenes like these?“ asks the narrator. This is then contrasted to the beautiful weather of Italy. Lake Como is shown. A couple of holidaymakers sit at a table beside the lake. Various shots of holidaymakers at Cadenabbia - sunbathing, chatting in deck chairs, sunbathing, diving into the lake, water-skiing etc. Bellagio - various shots of the local streets, a jewellery stall in the market, paintings on display in a narrow street, local shop with lovely raffia handbags, silk scarves and ties, etc. Venice - St Mark’s Basilica, the Campanile, mosaics of the Basilica, pigeons in St Mark’s Square.
