Gorilla Lope Loves His Snow Snack

Gorilla Lope from the Twycross zoo climbs up to the platform. There is quite a bit of snow on the ground, but understandably they do prefer the fresh snow on the platforms. He gathers all the snow together carefully. Compacting it nicely with his hands. It isn’t very good snowman snow as it doesn’t stick together so it’s more difficult for him to get a whole chunk as it all falls apart again, but he manages it and why not have an extra snack on the go before going back into the warmth in the typical Lope swagger. It’s doesn’t take long before he’s back out again to get some more. This time he takes his time and even has a sit down with a big chunk of snow in his hand before he goes back inside.
