The Biggest Street Food Market in Phuket. Ribs, Ducks, Fried Meat, Seafood. Thalang Road. Thailand

instragram: settime2588 Thalang Road is the main central street of Phuket’s charming Old Town. This boulevard is studded with numerous attractions, great shops, restaurants, several small guesthouses and more, all housed in the beautiful Sino-Portuguese architecture that makes Phuket Town so famous. As well as being one of the oldest streets in Phuket, it remains one of the busiest. It’s still a major route for road traffic, except on Sunday evenings when it becomes Phuket’s own Walking Street and a Street Food night market, from 4pm to 10pm. Also known as Lardyai (from the southern Thai dialect version of talaad yai, which means ‘big market’), Phuket Walking Street allows visitors to discover some typical southern Thai culinary specialities as well as local handicraft and gift stalls. This weekly event is definitely family-oriented with the presence of toy stalls
