Nick Heyward – “On A Sunday” (Arista) 1983

Produced by Geoff Emerick and Nick Heyward From Nick’s 1983 US Arista album, “North Of A Miracle” Hailing from Beckenham in the UK, Nick Heyward first found fame as the leader opf the group, Haircut 100. They signed with Arista in 1981 and had four UK Top-10 hits in 1981-82. One of these, “Love Plus One” entered the US Hot-100. Their album, “Pelican West” charted at #2 in the UK and #31 in the US as well. Nick’s solo career began in 1983 with the single, “Whistle Down The Wind”. His initial album, “North Of A Miracle” went to #10 in the Uk and gave rise to four UK hits, one of which was “On A Sunday”, which reached #52 in 1984.
