Deathtrap Dungeon | Interesting Game Menus

Deathtrap Dungeon was an action/adventure game developed by Asylum Studios and released in 1998. Each menu has a suitably gothic or macabre backdrop, and the same background material is never used twice. Candles, skulls, dusty tomes, and rusty weapons all play to the tune of the game’s intended atmosphere. The show stealer, as far as menus are concerned, has to be the audio menu in which the player can alter the sound effect and music volumes: Raising or lowering the sound effects volume triggers the animation of a torture victim screaming on a rack, while manipulating the music volume slider brings a discordant orc band to life.
