German politicians’ personal data hacked and leaked | DW News

Hundreds of German politicians, including Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, have had their personal information hacked. Among the stolen data, which was subsequently posted to Twitter, were stolen phone numbers, credit-card details and personal ID information. It’s not clear who is responsible.
