R7 5700X vs R7 5700X3D | RTX 4070 - Tested in 2024

The Ryzen 5 3600 on the other hand costs ~$60,- less and still gives a pretty good performance for their value even with a high end gpu like the RTX 4070 and especially in 1440p, because then the GPU is mostly bottlenecking instead of the CPU, but the 1% and 0.1% lows with the Ryzen 7 5700X are still better.
