Lemon Tetra Care Tips: Tank Size: The minimum tank size suitable for the Lemon Tetras is 15 gallons or more. Tank Setup: Have a planted tank with floating plants for shade with sufficient space for the Lemon Tetras to swim around in the tank. Water Temperature: The ideal water temperature suitable for the Lemon Tetras is between 72 to 82 F (22.2 to 27.8 C). Water pH Level: The ideal pH range suitable for the Lemon Tetras is between 5.5 to 8.0. Water Filtration: In the wild the Lemon Tetras are found in the shallow river waters with slow movement. A filter which creates little to no movement is suitable for them. Food: The Lemon Tetras are omnivores and will eat all types of fish food like flakes, pellets, bloodworms, brineshrimp etc. In the wild they feed on worms and small crustaceans.
