Guru Stotra

Guru Stotram or Gurustotro as it is known in Bengali is a hymn in praise of the Guru (Teacher). The source of this Stotram is Ishwara’s speech in the Sri Guru Gita of Skanda Puran (Uttarkhanda). There is no unique version of this stotra - different regions of India have their own regional version. This particular version is in use in some Bengali families and this particular chanting style is also in use in some families.
