Italy: Thousands attend Rome demonstration to denounce COVID Green Pass

The certificate is mandatory in order to work and attend all public places and events, including public transport between cities. The protesters gathered in Rome’s Circus Maximus, after Italian authorities banned demonstrations against the Green Pass in historic or tourist sites. Italy has stepped up its COVID vaccination campaign, bringing forward the start date for administering the third dose of the vaccine to those over 40 from December 1 to November 22.
