This tutorial is intended to help you through some of the challenging parts of knitting COLOURED CROSSES SENIOR. Hint: If things are going a bit fast, YouTube lets you change the playback speed. Abbreviations k = knit M1R = Make 1 Right – work an increase by inserting the left needle under the strand between the stitches from back to front, and knit it M1L = Make 1 Left – work an increase by inserting the left needle under the strand between the stitches from front to back, and knit it through the back loop p = purl RS = right side WS = wrong side st(s) = stitch(es) tbl = through the back loop (twisted stitch)
