Revue Déjà Vu -- Moulin Rouge Budapest Show (complete)

The concept of the Moulin Rouge programme matches the venue’s former atmosphere: the “REVUE DÉJÀ VU“ recalls the feeling of the real prewar European orfeums. Those which were world famous at their time, those whose fame resounded in the papers of Vienna, Berlin, Paris and even of New York, on whose stages made appearances the likes of La Gulue, Yvette Gilbert, Josephine Baker or Marlene Dietrich. The creators of the programme made every effort to impress the audience using the accessories, music, style and atmosphere of an international revue show. The show includes famous standard melodies by Strauss, Lehár; world famous songs by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Kander-Ebb; old chansons reviving the traditions of the German, Austrian and Hungarian cabaret; and the authentic, passionate Gypsy music and dance always having a noisy success. The show intends to recreate the world of prewar revue cabarets, orfeums.
