Afghan spy agents seized 3,000 litres of alcohol during Kabul raid; three dealers arrested
In a crackdown on sale of alcohol, Afghan intelligence agents poured 3,000 litres of liquor into a canal in Kabul. A video released by the nation’s spy agency shows agents pouring alcohol stored in barrels into the canal. The Afghan intelligence agents had seized 3,000 litres of alcohol during a raid in the capital Kabul. The agency said three dealers were also arrested during the operation. Sale and consumption of alcohol was banned even under the previous regime. The Taliban govt has increased the frequency of such raids since it seized power on August 15.
