Krista Papista: ΣΥΜΦΩΝΙΑ *Agreement

From my new album Fucklore__ This summer in Berlin a group of participants recreated an EST seminar, where one physically peels off traumas to reach a state of “nothingness” and it was captured on film. It became the energised music video for “ΣΥΜΦΩΝΙΑ *Agreement”. In the 1960’s The Human Potential Movement gave birth to a new psychological age where individuals could flourish. This idea was then taken and mass produced by a car salesman who changed his name to Werner Erhard and re-invented himself into a self-help guru and created EST* (ErhardSeminar Training) in 1971. Trainers confronted participants to be themselves rather than to play a role that had been imposed on them by the past. Over the course of 60 hours participants would break down conditioned emotions, aiming to reach a place of “nothingness” or a “child-like” state where they could then re-invent themselves. conc
