Antique SIGMUND sprayer - Restoration

I welcome you to today’s video, where we renovated an old sprayer from SIGMUND Pumpy, which was manufactured at the beginning of the 20th century. Sigmund Pumpy was founded in the 19th century by the Sigmund family. It was originally a side job of Ludvík Sigmund, who worked for the wellman Tomáš Vychodil. After his death, Ludvík became the sole owner and founded a company for the production of pumps in Lutín, where he began the production of wooden stand pumps and water pipes. In 1894, sons Jan and František took over the company and started the production of metal pump parts. Around 1935, production began to focus on filtration and breathing filters for gas masks. The Sigmund Pumps company expanded to England where, with branches in London and Newcastle, they began to focus on the production of motorized fire hydrants for the Brické Home Office and the London Fire Brigade.
