1967 Richard Kiley - The Impossible Dream (mono 45 version)
The much-recorded show tune from the Tony Award musical “Man Of La Mancha” is performed here by the also-Tony winner Kiley who introduced it on-stage in the role of Cervantes/ Quixote. Though this single originated from the same master version as the Original Cast LP track, it was released more than a year after the album and converted to the heavily-reverbed mono form heard here.
Transferred from mono 45 single Kapp 856 - The Impossible Dream (The Quest) (Joe Darion-Mitch Leigh) by Richard Kiley, orchestra conducted by Neil Warner
