Leslie Cheung: 奔向未來日子 with romanization and translation (see description)

The history of Cantopop cannot be complete without the mentioning of the late Leslie Cheung. Years after his passing, his legacy lives on with his music and movies. This video is a tribute from me to one of the most charismatic Hong Kong singers/actors. This is the theme song to the classic HK movie A Better Tomorrow II directed by John Woo. Simply put, if you haven’t seen the movie already you must watch both the first movie and this one to witness a couple of timeless gems of HK cinema of yesteryear. 奔向未來日子(“Running Toward the Future“) is a pleasant listen and I’m sure you will agree. I have translated the song to English and provided the Yale romanization for for those who cannot read the language but would like to sing along nonetheless. All video animations, lyrics translation and the overall presentation were done by me. Static background image is of Chow Yun Fat and was screenshoted from the first A Better Tomorrow movie.
