The Kishotenketsu (Japanese 4 Act Structure) in Action
Welcome back. In this video I’ll show you 3 examples of Kishotenketsu in action. I’ll use anime for my examples, as it’s the most prolific source of Kishotenketsu we have in the west. The three anime I’ll use for my examples are The Promised Neverland, Ah! My Goddess, and One Piece. I’ll end by showing you how you can incorporate Kishotenketsu for your secondary characters.
Let’s get into it.
