PULL UP! PULL UP! PULL UP!

Hello everyone, how do you do. In this clip, I show the alerts, subsequent warning and recovery actions to avoid colliding with high ground/terrain. Most aircraft are fitted with a Ground Proximity Warning System(GPWS). This system alerts pilots of proximity to high ground or obstacles. It also alerts pilots if Flaps are in the wrong configuration for landing or the landing gear is not down and a few others too. But todays clip is to do with an aircraft approaching high ground. There have been a lot of aircraft accidents where aircraft have flown into mountains or riding terrain or obstacles with disastrous consequences. CFIT is short for CONTROLLED FLIGHT INTO TERRAIN. This happens when an aircraft comes in contact with terrain under full pilot control- usually because of poor monitoring of position or ignoring aircraft system warnings. Notice during the recovery segment in this video, that the TCAS is inhibited (because it is more important to get away from hitting the ground). The ‘PULL UP!’ Will conti
