Erzbergrodeo 2022 | Iron Road Prologue Highlights

934 riders lined up for a 2-day Erzbergrodeo 2022 Iron Road Prologue session at the Erzbergrodeo 2022, Round 3 of the FIM’s World Hard Enduro Championship. All riders were to take at least one heat on the 10KM track around the Iron Giant where they enjoyed the crazy fast straights, hill climbs and drifty hair pin turns. Heat 1 served a better condition to riders because the track was half wet and was easy to find better grip. The difference among the track conditions between Heat 1 and 2 were so dire, only a small number of riders improved their times left from Heat 1. Kailub Russell and Dominik Olszowy were riding on a different level and the American was only able to clinch it by a nose, seconds. Kyle Flanagan completed the trio with a fantastic P3. This was South African’s second race in two years, he was basically a tourist there but a fast one.
