Painted in “Casino Beige”, your friends will think you’ve hit the jackpot when they see you rolling in this drop top Super 8. The fender skirts, split windshield and Firestone white wall tires are a sign of the times but this car wouldn’t be the same without them. This Buick Super 8’s convertible top has new fabric and comes with a matching Tan boot cover for a finishing touch. Under the dual side opening hood is Buick’s 248 “Fireball” inline 8-cylinder motor that purrs into life every time you push the start button. Yes, this 1940 vehicle has a factory “push to start” almost 70 years before they became standard features in automobiles! A 3-speed “three on the tree” manual transmission with the shifter located on the column is authentic and has the benefit of adding room inside this ‘40 Buick.
