Powering this ’62 Sports Roadster is a 390 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission with the factory rear end. The odometer reads just over 60k miles however the current owner is not sure the exact miles on the drivetrain, this car is turnkey and purrs like a kitten. The Sports Roadster was a limited production version of the convertible which added 48 spoke Kelsey-Hayes designed wire wheels, a fiberglass tonneau cover which covered the back seat of the car and created a two-seater appearance. 1,427 Sports Roadsters were produced in 1962, including 120 models with the special M Code option. The interior of this car features black vinyl bucket seats, seat belts, a “throw away“ steering wheel, power windows, power convertible top, a clock, AM/FM radio, and so much more!
