Il duo Chi Asso propone in questo video il primo dei tre tempi de “La Catedral“, il famosissimo e malinconico Preludio Saudade che, come noto, fu accorpato agli altri due movimenti dall’autore, Augustin Barrios, solo nel 1938. In questa versione il contrabbasso si inserisce con grande discrezione riecheggiando, attraverso flebili suoni armonici, lo struggente canto della parte chitarristica lasciata qui invariata. In this version the double-bass enters with great discretion and resounds, with faint harmonics, the pining melody of the guitar part, left unchanged here.
