Moja Ballada - Krzysztof Komeda

My arrangement of “Moja Ballada,“ one of the most beautiful pieces by Polish composer Krzysztof Komeda. I created this arrangement as the final project for a medical school rotation called “Medicine and the Arts,“ during which my colleagues and I explored the relationship between the two fields. I thought it was fitting to choose this particular piece as Komeda was not only a gifted pianist and composer but also a medical doctor specializing in otolaryngology. This piece appears on my album “Masquerade.“ Performed on a custom-made Stephen Kakos 2011 classical/flamenco hybrid guitar using an altered tuning (sixth string = C, fifth string = G, second string = Bb, first string = D).
