Alberto Mesirca plays “De la Llum“ by David Eres Brun

Alberto Mesirca - Guitar The young Valencian composer David Eres Brun wrote this beautiful piece, of which I am lucky to be dedicatee, which is a study of the light and the special atmosphere that characterizes Castellòn and the so-called “Desierto de las palmas“, which is not a real desert but a place of spiritual retreat chosen by the Carmelitans who built their monastery there during the 17th Century. The monastery was then destroyed (just a ruin remains) by the torrential rains. “De la Llum“ has been premiéred on the 9th of June, 2011, in Castellòn.
