Roberta Gennuso plays “Arada“ from Suite Castellana by Federico Moreno Torroba on a classical guitar made by Emiel Adriaens a young belgian luthier based in Balen. Federico Moreno Torroba was one of the most worthy representatives of the golden age of Spanish music. He decided to take up the inheritance of his predecessors Albeniz and Granados, carrying forward the idea of a music that had to remain in close contact with the popular tradition, and for this there is perhaps no better instrument than the guitar. Thus Torroba is one of the most important composers who decided to dedicate such beautiful and inspired pages to the classical guitar.
