Summer Sonatina is part of a series of works that, together with Autumn Sonatina, Winter Sonatina and Spring Sonatina, form a closed cycle in which - based on different instrumentation and the same language - I intend to evoke the sensations I receive in each of the seasons, either through a personal experience or the simple contemplation of the landscape. Etesios: Strong wind from Greece that alleviates the suffocating heat of summer afternoons.
