Railcam ’Drivers Eye’ Series, West Somerset Railway, filmed Saturday 18th September 2021. Part 1, Bishops Lydeard to Crowcombe Heathfield. Railcam UK were invited by the Diesel and Electric Preservation Group to visit the West Somerset Railway for the Mixed Traction Weekend, 17th & 18th September 2021, to take advantage of some filming opportunities, including cab footage and a front mounted camera to film the entire route, in BOTH directions. The first run was captured from ’Manor’ Class 4-6-0 7828 Odney Manor, running between Bishops Lydeard and Dunster. The return working was headed by DEPG Class 33 D6575. To complete the coverage, DEPG Class 33 D6566 was enlisted for the round trip, Bishops Lydeard - Bishops Lydeard via Norton Fitzwarren and the run-around loop.
