WOW!! These are some tasty Cantonese Style Soy Sauce Noodles
LEARN HOW TO COOK A CANTONESE STYLE SOY SAUCE NOODLES RECIPE AT HOME!
LAY HO MA! If you’re a veteran on this channel, then you know I love noodles! This is a basic but delicious recipe that is packed with umami. Join me in this episode and learn how to make a Cantonese style soy sauce noodles recipe right at home. Let’s begin
Ingredients:
2 pieces garlic
small piece ginger
5 sticks green onion
3 shiitake mushrooms
140g noodles (I’m using lotus foods ramen in this episode)
3 tbsp avocado oil
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp white sesame seeds
2 small sheets nori
Directions:
1. Bring a pot of water to boil for the noodles
2. Finely chop the garlic, ginger, and green onions. Finely slice the shiitake mushrooms
3. Cook the noodles for half the time to package instructions (2min in this case). Remember to stir the noodles occasionally to keep them from sticking
4. Strain out the noodles and set aside
5. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium heat. Add in the avocado oil
6. Add the garlic, ginger, and green onions. Sauté for about 1min
7. Add the shiitake mushrooms and sauté for 2-3min
8. Add the noodles and both soy sauces. Sauté for another minute and plate
9. Sprinkle on some white sesame seeds and toasted nori
