In Twilight Saga they are described as the most powerful and influential vampires in the vampire world, kinda vampire royalty. The founder and leader of this coven is Aro, a very powerful vampire who possesses the gift of tactile telepathy. I’ve always found vampires (especially ancient ones) fascinating so it was easy for me to admire Aro’s peculiar character. While creating this I was imagining Aro sitting casually at his desk: opening letters, reading them, writing an answer on old parchment with his quill. Opening a heavy old book and flipping its pages in gloomy candle lights. Pouring some blood in his goblet. I wanted to make this ambience mysterious but also cozy and relaxing.
