Great Circle Route Copy

A great circle is defined as any circle drawn on a globe (or other sphere) with a center that includes the center of the globe. Pilots use the “Great Circle Route“ to navigate because it provides the shortest distance between any two points on the globe. In other words, if one cut the globe in a way that included the starting point, the end point, and the center of the globe, that segment would represent the great circle route.
