Vertigo (Temple Bar Mix) Richie Smyth: As part of a mini documentary U2 3 Songs i was shooting for the Atomic Bomb album I got Bono to do a spoken word version of the song Vertigo with Edge accompanying him on banjo as an example of how a great song can take a completely different traditional arrangements and still be a great song. This was the premise for the project. We plugged them into the main mixing desk in the studio and I just shot it as a single take.
