The band’s sound draws influence from a variety of classic and modern bands like Overkill, Judas Priest, Sepultura, Kreator, Warbringer, Toxic Holocaust, Megadeth to name a few. To quote the band – “Our sound can be roughly summed up as a unique and original blend of thrash metal with its traditional tenacity and aggression combined with a modern approach to structure, production and execution sprinkled with Heavy Metal musical sensibilities and just the right amount of progressiveness to keep the listener engaged.” Dreadhammer have been playing together for quite a few years now in the local community having worked with almost every rock and metal event curator in the city. They are seasoned at their craft and are ready to take it to the next level with their first full length release “Sovereign“.
