Morissette Amon’s Cover of Mariah Carey’s Fly like a bird This is my reaction, analysis and breakdown of the great & amazing Morissette Amon’s performance of Fly like a bird by Mariah Carey. This great performance that really builds, displays Morissette’s beautiful tone, and lots of great runs and mixed belts. I LOVE this song. For a pop tune it has such a soulful, gospel kind of feel and a really great melody. I am really enjoying the straight tone we are getting, the forward sound, the beautiful mixes towards the end, and of course all the great riffs. This song really gives Mori the opportunity to showcase A LOT of her skills….from a delicate straight tone, to huge belts, to crazy riffs but we still hear some great musicality and very appropriate styling of the melody. I appreciate the tasteful choices and just the way she performed this, glancing at the camera and having fun the whole time.
