Russia says its Su-25 attack aircraft inflicted heavy damage at camouflaged Ukrainian positions and equipment. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft conducted airstrikes and released heat flares before returning to their base airfield. The Soviet-era aircraft, known by the NATO reporting name ’Frogfoot’, is among the best-known jets used by Russia.
