Tommy Seebach was one of the most popular singer/song writers in the 70’s and 80’s in Denmark. Tommy could write pop tunes - catchy pop tunes and he wrote song after song in those years for both himself and other artists. Tommy also competed in the local Danish Eurovision (ESC) 8 times and won 3 of them. The last time he took part in the local ESC was in 1993 with the song ’Under stjernerne på himlen’. He won and came to the internationally ESC, where his song failed - really failed. It became the end of his career, as both his loyal fans and the press turned their backs to him. Tommy started to drink, got divorced and couldn’t get a new recording contract. After years of drinking Tommy one day decided to stop drinking and he actually managed to get small jobs on bars playing his old music.
