Live Golden Eagle nest camera in Estonia Find out more here: Forum in English: The golden eagle nest camera is situated in Soomaa National Park in Southwestern Estonia. The same nest has been followed with a camera also since 2020. The male is named Kalju and the female Helju. There were no eggs in 2023. 2020 season 1st egg - March 11, 2nd egg - March 15 1st chick hatched - April 21, 2nd chick - exact hatching date unknown (died probably because of food deprivation) 1st chick was ringed May 29 and fledged July 3 2021 season 1st egg - March 21. Egg was broken by the female on April 5th. 2022 season 1st egg - March 15, 2nd egg - March 19 1st chick hatch - April 25; 2nd chick hatch - April 27 (dies May 11) Chick, named as Margit ringed in May 22 and fledged in July 9 2023 season There were no eggs. Vanalindude nimed on Kalju ja Helju. 2023. aastal sellesse pessa ei munetud. 2020. aasta 1. muna - 11. märts, 2. muna - 15. märts 1. poeg koorus - 21. aprill, 2. poeg - koorumise täpne aeg teadmata (hukkus ilmselt toidukonkurentsis vanema pojaga) 1. poeg rõngastati 29. mail ja lennuvõimestus 3. juulil. 2021. aasta 1. muna - 21. märts. Emaslind lõhkus muna 5. aprillil. 2022. aasta 1. muna - 15. märts, 2. muna - 19. märts 1. poeg koorub - 25. aprill, 2. poeg koorub - 27. aprill (hukkub 11. mail) Poeg rõngastati 22. mail ja läheb lendu 9. juulil. 2023. aasta Pessa ei munetud. Kevadine käitumine viitas uuele pesale, aga hiljem see kinnitust ei leidnud Kaamera ülekanne algas 3. märtsil.
