Bucharest, Rumania / Romania. MS Signs at Bucharest airport welcoming President Richard M. Nixon, also large portraits of the two presidents. One sign reads: “Long Live the Friendship between the Romanian and the American Peoples.“ MS President Nixon’s Boeing taxiing at Bucharest airport. Nixon comes down the steps with his wife, Patricia Nixon and is warmly greeted by President Nicolae Ceausescu and Rumanian party. After brief inspection of guard, each makes a short formal speech, (mute). MS President Nixon fighting his way through joyous crowds, shaking many hands as he does so. Var. good tracking shots through the excited crowd - lined streets of Bucharest, as the two presidents, in open car, make their way from the airport into the city.
