Unused / unissued material - LS Ships. Norwegian Destroyer ’Narvic’ (Formerly the British destroyer HMS Glaisdale). HMS Whitby (Britain’s latest anti-submarine frigate). Portuguese ships. Dutch submarine. HMS Whitby comes alongside. LS all ships alongside in British port. Inside anti-submarine school run jointly by Royal Navy and Coastal Command. Various shots inside anti-submarine school. Sequence of shots briefing before exercise. Norwegian destroyer Narvic sails for exercise to rendezvous with aircraft who spots submarine and drops marker buoy (10 shots). HMS Whitby closes to attack submarine with Nimbo (the twin three-barrelled projectors which throw six-three hundred pound depth bombs to any angle or degree of the compass).
