Gran San Bernardo Tunnel Linked (1962)

Unissued / Unused - The Alps - Italy and Switzerland. VS Italian and Swiss workmen have been digging a tunnel between there two countries. The tunnel is narrow now but will be made much bigger to take cars etc. The coverage shows white coated and hatted journalists and dignitaries travelling down to watch as the two countries workmen meet underground where they dance and cheer.
