‘Weak’: NSW police and govt ‘surrendered the streets to extremists’
Sky News host Chris Kenny has slammed the “weakness” of the NSW police and government after they enabled pro-Palestinians to chant antisemitic slogans on Monday night.
The protestors were filmed chanting offensive remarks out the front of the Sydney Opera House which had been lit up to support Israel.
“They surrendered the streets to the extremists,” Mr Kenny said.
He said the police and government are “so scared” of confronting Islamist extremists that they end up “enabling” antisemitism.
“This is weakness – a country that does not understand how to defend its own values.”
