Mother Nature tried to throw us off beat, but nothing can stop the rhythm of Elevation when Paul Traeumer hits the decks! Despite a fierce snowstorm at 3200 meters above on March 30th, a crowd of true music lovers gathered to experience the magic of his set. In a twist of fate, the CDJs were sacrificed to the icy grip of winter, but our spirits remained unbroken! With quick thinking and resourcefulness, we wrapped up the dj booth and dug out an old all-in-one controller from the depths of SYN32, ready to keep the beats alive. Thank you to each and every one of you who danced with us under the snow, making this day truly magical! Unlike many musicians who find inspiration from within the clubs, it was the opposite for Paul, whose first entry into clubs around Europe, came from his music. Through years of producing, his sound shed new light into an inhabited scenery. Started in 2016 as a small gathering of music enthusiasts, we eventually grew into a full-scale Apres-Ski musical event, as the aesthetics of ski resorts attract not only winter sports fans but also adherents of outdoors and music. Our mission is to raise the level of the Kazakh musical scene to the global extent, as well as to promote Almaty as the musical capital of Central Asia.
