Succession launches season 3 by sponsoring Hearts shirts in TV show ‘takeover’ of football club

HIT SHOW Succession have had one of their storylines brought to life – after teaming up for a ‘takeover’ at Hearts. The series returns for a third season from today and continues its affiliation with the Gorgie club after a mention in the previous season. Character Roman Roy buys the Tynecastle club to impress his father Logan, who he believes is a Hearts follower. Though he later discovers, to his embarrassment, that his dad is actually a Hibs supporter. Streaming service NOW have worked in partnership with the Jambos to celebrate the fictional takeover with a special line of jerseys. The limited-edition shirts come with the name of the Roy family’s company’ Waystar Royco, embroidered on the front.
