The bike wasn’t idling properly. It was sitting at 2000 rpm as if the automatic choke (i.e. fast idle wax unit) was sticking on it’s cold setting. On proper inspection however it turned out to be really stiff starter valve mechanisms. So here’s my efforts to fix it along with some footage of the fast idle wax unit in operation. Hope it’s of some help to someone. A few tins of GT85 later normal service has been resumed. Oh, and check out Kal’s awesome video for more info
