CCI Uppercut .22lr Defense JHP tested with the KELTEC P17

Testing the new .22 lr self-defense ammunition from CCI with my KEL-TEC P17. It features a copper jacketed hollow point bullet with skiving to help the bullet open up and expand into 6 petals all the while delivering around 8 inches of penetration in ballistic gel when fired from 2.5“ to 4“ semi auto pistols... or at least that’s what’s advertised... the ads show beautifully expanded bullets.... does it deliver? That’s what I set out to find out with my trusty P17.
